Blog I? Or Blog I not?
The eternal question. My last blog ended on such a sour note, it’s hard to be anything but dubious about starting a new blog. Should I just be extremely anonymous about everything? No specifics? In other words, nothing interesting?
Why do I even want a blog anyway? Is it just narcissism that makes me want to share my thoughts with the public? And do I really NEED to spend more time in front of my computer?
On the other hand, I like writing. And I like giving updates on my life in one place so I don’t get blamed for not giving someone the latest breaking news. Ha ha! Now it’s their fault for not knowing. Why haven’t they been checking my blog? Checkmate!
I’m convincing myself to start a blog. And I’m convincing myself to make this journal entry the first post.

Um, I accidentally hit “enter” in all my excitement. What I MEANT to say additionally, is that I’m glad you’re blogging again, love the design and am wondering if the picture is from the island of Capri (ha)? You know, to tie in the with the title.

The picture is actually one I took in France. Kate and I accidentally drove through the Alps (which makes us sound like morons, but the Alps weren’t mentioned on our map). At one point during our deathly trek along crazy-dangerous mountain roads, we noticed a turquoise lake peeking at us through the trees. We pulled into this teeny town that overlooked the most amazing lake I’ve ever seen in my life. We talked to some friendly French people (who made fun of us for being Nebraskans in the Alps), and we took pictures before going on our way. Unforgettable.

Hello there. I recently start blogging, and by coincidence I saw this post, where you ask yourself (way of speaking
) if you should start writing again. Well, after creating my blog, some days ago, I’m asking myself that same question
