When demons drink martinis, they go to the alps.

We went to Aunt Marilyn’s house for Thanksgiving yesterday.  After stuffing ourselves with turkey at lunch (but before stuffing ourselves with ham at dinner), we learned the best party game ever.  EVER.

Pictionary Telephone.  Everyone sits around in a circle.  Each person gets a stack of note card-sized pieces of paper (one paper for each person playing).  All players write down a sentence on the first piece of paper.  When everyone’s done, they pass the entire stack of papers to the next person in the circle.  Next, everyone looks at the sentence from their neighbor and illustrates it on the next page.  They then hide the original sentence on the bottom of the pile, and once again, everyone passes the stack to the next person.  Now everyone’s looking at a picture, and they have to write a sentence that represents what they see.  Play continues with alternating rounds of writing and drawing, until the stacks reach the person they started with.  Hilarity ensues.

Here’s an example:

I like it!

Anne!!! This is GREAT!! I got the biggest laugh in weeks! It was especially fun to see the signatures and know who wrote/drew the item. Also I love thei nterpretations of the guy’s fingers “trimming” the books, into ripping up the books. That must have been some great laughs. Whose idea was that game?! Fun!!
