If I were a butterfly

This summer I will be leading song time at Zion’s Vacation Bible School. I’m pretty sure I want to sing some of the oldies/goodies from when I was a student in VBS.

Suggestions?

While thinking about song choices, I ran across the following video, which I fell in love with.

You can’t go wrong with Deep and Wide. I tried to teach the 3-5 year olds “Father Abraham” on Sunday. While they followed the actions, they couldn’t quite catch on to the words so I was a solo act. I’ll be thinking of other songs from childhood.

Cheesy as it is, I always liked “Love is something if you give it away”, aka, the magic penny song. Thinking back on it, though, it doesn’t have any specifically Christian content. Hmm…we sang that a lot in Sunday School.
